To those who perceive the end
I was thinking about this today. 100 years ago, in 1912, think for a second how different it would have been then from now. Cars were just barely invented, television didn’t exist, music would have still been played on phonographs, movies were still in the infant stages, and plenty more if you think about it. But now, 100 years later, we’re almost to the point where cars could be completely controlled by computers. Computers themselves are getting more and more advanced, we have the Internet and in that 100 years, recorded music has had several mediums until it has finally now been reduced to digital bytes.
The question here, is there any other 100 year period in the the last 2000 years that has had the same amount of advancement? From 1812 to 1912 or from 1712 to 1812? Could you make the same comparisons? Were things radically different in the same way they are now? The answer to that is obviously no.
The next thing is, where is that *one* genius or amazing scientific discovery that led to all this? How did man suddenly get so much smarter in such a short span of time when he spent 1900 years in relative technological darkness?
I believe that God allowed their eyes to be opened. Because the amazing scientific discoveries of the last 100 years has also allowed other prophecies to be fulfilled. Why does man now increasingly believe he does not need God? Because science seems to provide all the answers. The same science has also given man the ability to completely destroy himself.
The other thing is, approximately when did this knowledge begin accelerating at a fairly rapid pace? The answer is fairly easy to come by: 1948. The year Israel once again became a nation. In 1948, the first working program was created on a computer. One could argue it began accelerating slightly before that, but again, think about the advances made since that year. Again, incredibly more than the same time period before.
I believe, without a doubt, that we are well into the end times prophesied throughout the Bible.
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.[a]
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.

I’d like to introduce myself for a second. I live in Seattle, Washington and I have been a Christian the majority of my life (I’m in my 30s), however, there was a period of ten years where I fell away and gave myself to various lusts and addictions. I was obsessed with money and not having enough of it. Eventually I lost nearly everything because I did not listen to God when He was trying to get my attention.
This blog is going to primarily focus on the end times and the prophecy and scripture therein. I believe the signs are coming fast and furious and we as Christians cannot afford to be silent any longer. If I can be responsible for even one person coming to know Jesus before the Rapture takes us and the Tribulation begins, I will count it a victory. I didn’t always used to care about the End, in fact, I resisted it mightily, denouncing signs as just normal world progression.
However, in the last couple of years, I have come back to my relationship with Jesus and my eyes have been opened. I can see that the End is very, very near. I understand things that I’ve never understood before.
I have also been a writer my entire life, but it is only recently that I’ve realized that it’s more than just something I do, but my calling. This is going to be my light.
